Unlike other generators that produce harmful ozone, the TITAN 2000 utilizes a patented photocatalytic process to safely purify the air in occupied areas.

• Hydroxyl Radical Generation: The unit produces highly reactive hydroxyl radicals when humidity (H2O) passes by its Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) catalyst and powerful ultra violet (UVA) lamp (365nm-385nm spectrum). This reaction creates free electrons, hydroxyl radicals, and ionized hydro-peroxides.
• Decomposes Contaminants: These molecules are then dispersed by a high-volume fan to decompose organic and inorganic pathogens—including mold, mildew, fungus, bacteria, viruses, and VOCs—into harmless carbon dioxide (CO2) and water.
• Hydroxyl Maximizer Boost: The included Hydroxyl Maximizer is a cold vapor humidity generator that produces a fine mist. When placed behind the generator’s intake, it dramatically increases the humidity level for maximum hydroxyl production without raising the overall relative humidity in the room.
